1.
Donncha:
Dia dhuit a Cháit.
Cén chaoi a bhfuil ?
Cáit:
Dia 's Muire dhuit, a Dhonncha. Tá mé go maith (or, hiontach, or dona, or various other adjectives) . Cén chaoi a bhfuil tusa?
Donncha:
Tá mise go hiontach. Nach bhfuil an áit anseo go deas (or Hálainn, or haoibhinn, etc.)?
Cáit:
Tá, muise (or cinnte, or repeat adjective, and probably a few other possibilities too ), ach tá an bháisteach go dona (or adjective of choice)*.

.
2.
Donncha:
A Cháit, an bhfeiceann tú mo scian phóca áit ar bith? Níl a fhios agam cá bhfuil sí ar chor ar bith.
Cáit:
Tá rudaí go leor ansiúd ar an talamh. B'fhéidir go bhfuil *an* or *do* (I taught these in class before doing the exercise) scian phóca ann (or ansin/ansiúd).
Donncha:
Ó, tá, feicim anois. Go raibh maith 'ad.
Cáit:
Tá fáilte romhat. Slán.

III. Lettura:

Well, there's a beautiful Gaeltacht here. There's lots of rain, and the land is reasonably bad, but the fields and walls are lovely, and there are fine houses and fine people, too. I see boats everywhere. Do you see the gate and the house over there? There's a wonderful storyteller there, and a nice woman, too. And the other little house? The priest is there. My teacher's family are here too, but I don't know where. He says that there's fine Irish here. There's a good college, anyway, and good teachers, too. I'm satisfied here, are you? You're welcome here, anyway.
